Made the boat this morning with a ETA of June 8th

Born May 11th, 2009 at 5:16:10 am, completed May 20, reached the docks May 21 at 2:03:00 am, got on the FEDORA May 26 at 3:55 am cst

 

I'm aboard also. ETA NYC June 6th.

 

First stop will be Helifax FS June 3,
second NY/NY June 5,
Third Brunswick GA June 8,
Fourth Charleston SC June 10,

we are still trucking along I thought we had gone a longways really fast, I think we still have a few more hours of tracking left before we will be un-able to track the boat anymore at least until it gets closer to Canada but we are on the boat just a few more days and that nice MINI will be in the garage

out of the 358 MINI's I was the 14th to get on board that must mean I will be the 345th to get off

How did you see which one you were? I'm guessing it's on the WW query site... but I don't remember seeing that. Must have missed it...

 

I talked to my MA today and told him the car would be in the NY/NJ port on the 5th. He said to expect it up here in Albany during the week of the 8th. It would be a day or two in the port for installation of a few accessories (driving lights, stripes, etc.). It's getting close.

 

I'm on there too. Produced May 20th...next stop Brunswick on the 8th, then down to Orlando for delivery. My very first Mini. Got the Clubman S! Can't wait!

when you plug in your VIN you get all your info and then just copy your booking number, then on the left side of the trackin page on the far left put it in there and it will give you all the vins that are on the boat and the time they were loaded

we are short timing it now but I don't think I will get mine home til around the 20th I think it's going to take them a few days to do all the junk to my mini

 

Welcome minigator99 our MINI's will be getting off the boat at the same dock did you bring the fancy drinks (motor oil) with the little umbrellas?

WOW! You really got it decked out. Love the Chili red, almost chose that one myself. I got the same packages, nav, hifi, etc. Can't wait. I've named him Scooby. How about you?

 

No name yet I like Scooby Horizon was one of the colors I was checking out also. my wife kept coming in going, "OK which color are you going to get today?" seems l could always find some combo that I liked. picking the color was the hardest part for me

 

Well late last night OL finally listed me as on the boat funny I feel better with it listed that way even though it really makes NO difference at all I sure wish I could tell where our boat is at I figure we should start seeing it again Monday maybe tuesday, but I will keep looking.... I watched it for a couple of days (FEDORA) before it picked us up. no reason other than just wanted to make sure it made it

 

My listing was changed this AM also. I guess this shows we are making progress. I am in a rush because I sold my previous car faster than expected. It was gone the day after I ordered the MINI. The wait will be over soon.

 

I am in a rush also but I don't have any real good reason like you do I just want my MINI.
I am trying to figure out why Brunswick GA gets stopped off at before Charleston SC ?

 

I wondered about that also.

 

The Charleston area has some vehicle manufacturing, and also serves as a loading point to send vehicles back across the pond (from what I've been told), which is why it would be last.

Nice to know I'm not the only impatient person here, I'm jonesin' for Scooby to arrive! Nobody else has named their car yet? When I was bugging Ask Mini they constantly wanted to know if I had named him yet. :-)

 

Yes they kept asking me also as with everyone else... I have been working on different names:
Cimota = atomic as you would see it in your rearview mirror
Keegan = means "tiny little fire" Irish I think.
my wife wants to call it "Micky Mouse" she thinks the red/black/white looks like micky mouse?
I am not sure yet I am thinking after I see it with all it's stripes etc.... I might have a better idea

 

that's interesting on the car export thing I was thinking it had something to do with the trip back but I didn't think about them loading up a bunch of cars to take back.... I see it now some guy on the computer tracking the boat back over the pond with his car in it ... going when is it going to get here
