I ordered my car on 6/6.

 

Now I'm starting to get concerned that my car got damaged in transport. You'd think that cars that were ordered first would be on the trucks first.

Happy for you but seriously bummed right now.

 

kingbc... they probably ship the cars out according to where they are going. I am sure that your MINI is just fine.

 

So news update for anyone in Portland, I just heard from my MA and she confirmed that i can pick it up by the latest on Aug. 6th. So that means porbably anyone in the Northwest should be getting yours around that time as well. AWESOME!

 

I'm not yet convinced mine is on a truck. Still waiting to hear back from my MA at NW Mini. I am a little alarmed to see that the Order Details on the OL website does not list all of my options ordered, so I'm not sure I would place much hope on the Delivery date listed.

 

My MA drove mine to my house for delivery - I am now motoring. A Big Shout Out to Alex at Irvine MINI

 

Maxx is safe and sound in my garage. Pics to follow. There's nothing worse than driving your new MCS home in LA rush hour stop and go for the first 30 miles. Can't wait to introduce Maxx to all the nice twisties in San Diego this weekend. :-) Phillippe at South Bay Mini was phenomenal to deal with....a first class act.

 

Here it is and I just got thru with a 40 mile drive home. It was fun and great shifting manual transmission. The rest of the controls are still gothic to me and I am going to need some education on this car! Thanks Bernie and Amanda at SB MINI - that was very nice!

 

I'm driving the Infiniti tomorrow because:

#1) I'm paranoid
#2) I don't know how to operate everything (too much to learn at the dealer - suffered a brain cramp!)

 

Lookin good JKC! I can't wait for my Mini next week. It is also BRG but with black roof and the 16" bridge spokes. Tell me how you like the Green.

 

Car looks great JKC> I'm crossing my fingers I get a surprise today. It will kill me if I have to wait until "early next week" as my MA keeps saying. If it arrives at the dealer tomorrow, can I demand they give it to me?

 

JKC - Great Photos! You are the first to post them - I am sure by the weekend more will follow from the rest of us. For all of you still waiting - hang in there - it is well worth the wait!

 

JKC, were the drving lights considered "Port Installed" options or "dealer installed"? Supposedly that's what is holding my car up is having the driving lights installed at port. If yours were installed at Port, then I'm crossing my fingers that maybe I'll get a surprise call from Crevier today saying my car is ready.

 

Did you pick your MINI up? Also, when did you order your car?

 

Just got a call from NW Mini that my car will be available for pickup tomorrow at 3:00! Kingbc have you gotten word yet?

 

I also ordered from NW Mini. Jarid my MA called me this morning and said that NW Mini had 52 mini's on the boat. As of this morning they still had not gotten 38 of them. Mine, unfortunately is one of the 38. So congrats lincdr you are in the minority of us from NW Mini!! He did say that mine is est. delivery to them of the 5th...then 3 to 5 business days for them to do their stuff.

 

Nope.......I must be one of the 38, too. Dang!

 

The lights were port installed. Thus, if I was first to post the photos, then that didn't delay delivery. I can't believe I have not driven the car yet today. I feel like I am hiding something in the closet

Anyway, the green is classic and I can't wait to get motoring a bit.

 

So they gave me a 10% chance of making it today, and it looks like my Mini wasn't delivered even though my MA said it is in the Delivery Process. I guess that means I'm stuck waiting till Monday. I still think its BS that I can't pick up my Mini over the weekend, but what can you do?

 

I got it! I had to wait for the MA to finish with a customer and had one error so it took a little while to get done. I actually placed my order in April, got word it was on order the first of May.

While I was muttering about everybody who already picked up their MINI when mine was not at the dealership yet (SoCal), I got word this evening that my MINI was ready to be picked up. It was a surprise since yesterday they said it would not be here until Sunday with a pickup on Monday. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick it up tonight, but will get it tomorrow morning. For all who are still waiting, hang in there (of course easy to say, very hard to do).

 

I hear you, it seems harder to wait knowing how close it is. Don't give up hope as I was told that they didn't know when my car would be in as of last night. It was a pleasant surprise to get the call from my MA this afternoon. Hang in there everyone who is still waiting you'll be getting your call soon.

My mini arrived in Denver on Friday and my MA called and said that I can pick her up today. So hopefully by this afternoon I'll be motoring along. YEAH!!!
