AAAA! Probably won't sleep tonight...

I've been lurking around for a bit, and offering my semi-useless opinion here and there. Fifteen Clubmans (Clubmen?) stored on the configurator, you know the drill... It was all academic, because I still have my current vehicle.

Had.

AAAAAAH! It appears to have sold tonight!

Now I've got to decide! OMGOMGOMG!

only 15 saved? Looks to me like you have narrowed it down! Should be no problem picking out ONE!

Okay, that's all variations on the same color. I deleted the others...

Indeed, 15 saved is a model of restraint. Assuming you're looking at 2-3 months delivery time, I can think of few cooler things that taking your new Mini through the twisties of the NC hills as the fall colors start. Hopefully it wouldn't be that long though.

Yeah, now that you mention it, a MINI is likely one of the few vehicles to rival a motorcycle for grins in the fall twisties.

Thanks, that image is gonna help me sleep!

What a great problem to have! Congrats . . . . . .
And the winner is? Which Config wins out?

hoonu Jun 6, 2008 08:43 PM

I'm planning on a Clubman (Justaclubbie), Hot Chocolate probably, with Sparkling Silver as the alternate color.

As far as the config: Packages: Cold weather, probably Premium, maybe convenience. I'd like to be able to control an iPod from the wheel, and if you add that to the MFW, universal GDO, you're within $250 of the whole Conv. package. The only other factory option is the Sirius radio. I'm working on the dealer for some "throw-ins." We'll see. I'll post up on the build week...

Assuming I take the plunge... Remember what I said about not sleeping? :impatient:

Hope you get some sleep and pick the MINI that is just right for you!

Then the next step.........waiting for it to come in :impatient:

Keep us updated! :)

WoooHooo!

Took the plunge, she's ordered up, now just waiting for the official build sheet so I can spend the next X weeks obsessing! Well...continuing to obsess.

In the spirit of the waiting multitudes, here's what I went for:

MINI Cooper Clubman, HC/S
Premium, Cold Weather, and Convenience packages, white signal lenses, Sirius radio, silver sport stripes, JCW carbon shift knob, F&R rubber mats, mudflaps, wheel locks. Looks like week 26 build date. I'm loosely considering the rear foglight, strictly under the influence of those around here with the OCD over the blank in the switches.

It's a disease, isn't it?

+1 on the disease! It only gets better when your MINI gets here! Symptoms include excessive driving and an immovable smile
