Girlfriend's MINI S was hit :(

Hey guys I just wanted to post up here as I am new to the mini world. I've been on the Subaru forums for a long time but just joined up here since my girlfriend got an S (2002). Yesterday however, some idiot in a truck backed up over the front of her car she has had for two weeks. Basically she is going to need a new hood, new driving light, grill and possibly a new front bumper.

I really like how this mini looks. If you guys could point me in the direction of that front bumper and those black grills I was thinking about covering the extra so hers would look like that. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

thats the oem aero kit, classic mini is the best place to start, or local dealers, they should all have it, or at least get them

Are those black grills part of the aero kit? I looked on MiniMania and they just had black overlays for the stock grills.

Is this the classic mini you speak of? http://www.driveclassicmini.com/

i believe that's the one, that said, look them up at the vendor's directory is your best bet

the aero kit should come with those grilles if i am not mistaken... if my memory serves the entire kit from classic should float a bit north of 1000 bucks... i am also pretty certain if you mention you heard of them from nam they give you a discount

Sorry to read about this but very glad your girlfriend wasn't sitting inside her beautiful S when it happened. Very nice looking MINI.:)

No she was. The truck didn't actually go over the whole car just kinda backed up and smooshed the front end :(
