Originally my MA said it would be no later than tomorrow the 17th. Now he is saying due to the large number of cars that have come around the same time, I should expect it by the 25th. I am picking it up in Monrovia, CA.

 

Mine arrived in Albuquerque today, Jan 17. Will be picking up on MLK day!

Picked mine up last night. wowwww, INNNNCREDIBLEEE! as most of you ALREady know. sorry to hear about ur delay Woozy, but it IS worth the wait.

 

Got a call from my MA this evening. I pick mine up Saturday afternoon.

 

Picked up mine tonight. I got a CR with black roof, but turns out they switched my black stripes with another car's.. so it has white stripes.

Sooooooo are they replacing the stripes? Cant get white stripes on a black roof from the factory or the other way around.

 

Yeah, that's what i was thinking. So i don't know how they coulda possibly messed up on that. They said they will replace it if i decide i don't like the white stripes. I haven't really driven the car in broad daylight, but we'll see today. I will probably end up getting them switched anyway.

 

Does anyone know whether they are obligated to let us know if the Mini is damaged during transport?

Mine arrived on the Madame Butterfly, but still shows as being at the VDC according to the tracking info. Maybe I am being impatient, but seeing many others have already picked theirs up concerns me.

My MA told me vaguely that a large number of cars came into the VDC at the same time which is causing the hold up.

Call 1-866-ASK-MINI. That has more up to date info. Mine still shows as at vdc in the owners lounge but in transit on the phone.

I did call and it says it is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel

 

I picked up my MINI yesterday afternoon! My flight from Chicago landed on schedule. My daughter picked me up at the airport and took me to North Scottsdale MINI and 2 hours later I was driving my MINI home to Yuma. It couldn't have gone any better.

Same here but the status on the lounge just changed to "at dealer"

That's what I thought too. My MA says he is trying to find out from the people at the VDC. He doesn't know what the hold up is yet, but says he is trying to find out for me. I have a feeling it's some sort of damage.

 

yeah its gotta be something like that, cuz i live in LA and mine came in last wednsday

 

I just got word that one of the bumpers is scratched. They are saying I should get it by February 7th, the latest.
