Hey all.. mine was initially listed as Freedom, but it is now showing as the UNDINE. What's up with that?

It was booked on the first, received on the evening of the 2nd, was told it completed production on the 2nd and on it's way to the dock. Definitely, 100% saw it as booked and listed as travelling on the Freedom. Hadn't checked in a day or two, and now I see it is listed for the UNDINE.

My wife will be sad!!!

Okay, scratch that... My MINI is showing up "en route" in the Owners Lounge, and I called my dealer.. he said that Marge(my MINI) is indeed aboard the Freedom HUH-ZA!

bill of lading number is GB685526. also added to first post. I can't get the full list to paste correctly for some reason. And I also searched your VIN, nomad, and nothing came up when I searched it either. sorry I can't offer you better news.

 

So for everyone aboard the Freedom, whats the status of our ship? Has it docked yet because it has been showing a strange plot on the tracking site showing the boat at 600 hours near new york and then at 1200 out at sea? Confused!

 

Dt, I checked the NOAA website and there were storm and gail warnings in that area, I think it veered off east to avoid it.

 

I was also under the impression she's docking in Charleston, South Carolina. Is that correct?

 

Thanks for the heads up. I didnt realize there was a storm. I know that the freedom will stop there among its many stops, however, its first stop will be New York. I checked SailWX and it now shows that it is almost, if not is, docked in New York harbors. If you check WW site, you will notice all the places the freedom is stopping while it is here on the US shoreline. Finally, my car will be on solid ground tomorrow!

 

So to answer your question, yes it will eventually stop in Charleston. Sorry lol.

Has anyone spoke with there MA about the status of cars unloaded in New York? The wait on SailWX is killing me because they have yet to post after the 11th what the status of the ship is. Thanks in advance. If I hear back from my MA before you guys then I'll post.

Haven't heard from my MA yet, but the WW site is listing our cars as "Discharged" as of 12 Nov 07 12:00 PM. So it looks like they've arrived!

 

I live in the South.. and it looks like my car will be discharged in South Carolina... it's only few more days. I'm jealous of y'all!

 

OK just when I thought I had this track your mini thing worked out... I am confused again. I live in Dallas and presumed that my car would be discharged in Charleston. When I went onto the WW site it says that my car is already discharged... but I think the ship is still in NY. Maybe the status just doesnt show up correctly and my car is still onboard.

Perhaps I am getting weary of all the waiting.... Yes that must be it. I never imagined that 6-8 weeks would be soooooo long. I guess now that it is in the country... or at least on a boat next to it I am getting anxious.

Dang it, Now my car says it's discharged in S.C., and yet the ship tracker is showing it in New York. The only thing I can figure out is there is a Wallenius Wilhelmsenship called the Integrity that unloaded in the Port of Charleston today arrived yesterday (probably unloaded today).... maybe our cars were on that ship? I guess I'll call the dealer tomorrow. The mystery continues.

 

okay for everyone who has discharged in New York, when will it get to the VDC! I am getting really impatient because I want it before thanksgiving because I dont have classes next week and all im going to do is drive it all day and night lol...any thoughts? I called MINI today and they were very behind saying that my car was still on the boat at sea. AliMac is correct about this tracking thing, It's all a huge mystery!

 

If I'm not mistaken, I think the VDC is at the port. According to the Port Authority website, Wallenius Wilhelmsen uses the Maher terminals on the NJ side of the port. Nearby (also on the NJ side of the port) is the Auto Marine Terminal, and BMW of America’s Port Jersey Vehicle Preparation Center is listed as one of the tenants there.

So still confused. My car is scheduled to deport at Charleston (which it says it already has).... do they run it through the VDC and then put it back on the ship. Oh and my dealer knows nothing, saying they really don't communicate with the shipping company. They also said they'd call me back in 5 minutes... I called them back 45 minutes later. Ugh, Worthless.

Sorry... that's the frustration.
