Mini coopers are cool!
Hey everyone! Just bought my first Cooper - a 2003 Cooper hardtop. It has the CVT, and the bigest darned sunroof I've ever seen! I love this car. But I bought it for my wife. Now I have to find one for me too! I have a question, and I can't find the answer anywhere. In my glove box there are 2 odd "things" One is a rectangular panel that opens, but I don't see anything behind it. The other is round, looks like a knob of some sort. It turns, but nothing happens. What are these? How often should the tranmission fluid be changed? I think that's all, thanks!

Welcome to NAM! Yes, you need another MINI... NOW!  There are lots of multi-MINI families. That's the best way to motor!

The turning one opens/closes a vent to let air into the glove for cooling if you want to keep a softdrink in there or something :) Welcome

WHOA! Really?! That's the coolest thing I have ever heard of! Thanks!

Congrats, welcome to the NAMily!
Take note: Your jealousy over the fact that your wife now has the coolest car EVAR will only escalate. I can see the symptoms in you already. The only known cure is to become a 2-MINI family. It makes for a much more peaceful homefront.   |
