Please see my PM

Copper Mountain Resort has a children's policy that we are following for this event. 5 yrs and under will not be charged a dinner fee. That said, we need to register all 6 yr old and over, agewise, persons. Since you cannot register children online, just send me a PM with names and ages, we will have wristbands for them, and they will be admitted n/c. Please be sure to register in NAM all others.

We want to accomodate you and all other families. Thank you for asking.

Jonathan

BourneAgain,

My wife is in the same boat so we're trying to figure out what to do with her meals too.

So is there any special that come with the dinners besides dinner? Just trying to determine if I want to eat alone for with the group. :D

Glad you asked about the dinners. I am happy to clarify.

The dinners are more than dinners, they are social occasions. The reason we planned 2.5 hrs per dinner is not because the service is slow (we are in private dining areas) but because of the following:
  • Each dinner is preceded by a cocktail hour, cash bar. Whether or not you drink, this is a social time and a time to chat with the other MINI owners, drivers and guests. At the end of a long day, a cool one - alcoholic or not, will be welcome. Remember, we are in a very dry climate and liquid refreshments are recommended regularly.
  • The dinners too are social events. Each table will be 'hosted' by one of your vendors or an event guest. If you have never had the chance to site and talk with Russell Roth of MINIFINI, you might enjoy his company as I have. If you have never had the chance to talk with Doug and Donna Travis of AmericanMINIMates, you might enjoy their chat too. Ask them about their multiple adventures at the Dragon. If you have never had the chance to talk with Dave Bunting of Motoring Photography, then you have missed the #1 MINI photog in the US. If you have not had the chance to meet and greet Waylen Hunsucker (all the way from Indy and Way Motor Works) then you are missing something. Ask him about the MINI races this year. And others, too many to mention.
  • The dinners are the only places you will find FREE stuff. Giveaways, drawings, prizes, raffles, and more. On Friday, the dinner is sponsored by our local MINI dealer, Ralph Schomp. On Saturday, our dinner is presented by all of our vendor supporters, present or not. Free stuff for everyone, gifts, and more. Remember, we are there to welcome you.
  • Dinner also includes some A/V interludes, discussion, and comments from the dais by a number of pp.
  • On Saturday, those coming to dinner line up their MINIs in the Burning Stones Plaza for our group pic, prior to dinner. We leave them all there. If you are off somewhere....you won't get in. Then, after dinner, we all go to the hillside and watch the Italian Job, right by the MINIs. While you can join us, I can imagine it no fun your sitting outside looking in, waiting on us. We want you with us for the fun.
  • And then, the whole group leaves for the evening rides after it all, both nights.
  • Not to mention logistics. We cover the next day's agenda and logistics at dinner....we want you to know what is happening.
The cost should not be an issue. Each meal is subisdized for you. IF there are other issues and concerns, please let me or Rick know and we will address them with you.

Thanks for asking...we really want you to be part.

Last chance for Dinner and Prizes at MITM!

Registration for both the Friday Sponsor's Dinner (Ralph Schomp MINI) and the Saturday Vendor's Dinner (all of our other fine vendors) closes tomorrow, Sunday evening, August 6th. There will be no more RSVPs taken after Sunday.

Please remember that there will be NO dinner tickets sold at the door, our number must be firm.

Registration for the MITM event will remain open thru the event. If you have not registered and wish to do so, that helps us. Otherwise, come on out and enjoy our event!

Jonathan

PS: Please be sure to consider a MITM mod for your MINI. Way Motor Works, WEBB Motorsports, MINI-FINI, Aesthetic Creations, Whalen Shift Machine and American MINIMates will all be there to help you trick it up. Please RSVP for an install in our MITM Forum and Threads.
