672 (28), but more importantly just 160 till it's more registered than last year. That is a lot of MINIs.

For comparison purposes, last year didn't hit 700 until March 28! We're 2 months and 5 days ahead. And, between 1/23 and close of registrataion, 447 additional people registered - if the same rate holds this year, that would put us around 1150.

This is going to be a crap load of MINIs... have logistical measures be settled yet if there are "too many" MINIs?

I do hope they follow through and address the parallel parking issue on the main drag. That gets worse every year. How about a shuttle to get people to and from the big events?

I was thinking about the rallies also. Mainly the ones without limits. It is hard enough driving in a pack of 30 MINIs haha.

well the poker run is unlimited, the more the marrier!!! for this run it's gonna be a more go at your own pace instead of a big group, aka lets all drive together, it would actually be better the more everyone is spread out to avoid a big bunch up traffic jam at the checkpoints!

ps...

So far, I've never felt like the event or driving has been too crowded. Seems like the spread out nature of all the various lodgings throughout Robbinsville keeps us from ever having all 500+ MINIs in one place. Which would be a awesome site, but a logistal nightmare.

Last year we jump 197 in registrations and personally didn't feel like 2011 was any more crowded than 2010. Hoping the same holds true for 2012

The only open ended drives are the ice cream run and the dragon parade. We'll probably insert a few leaders into the Ice Cream run line up to help newbies from getting lost. Since it's almost impossible to get lost from the dam to the Dragon for the parade, I don't think that run will be an issue.

I'd would love to see the main drag kept open for traffic, but that's gonna be a bear to inforce. It's hard enough just keeping folks from parking in the Vendor spaces. I'll try to incourage folks to park more at the General Store.

Snooter, I am sure many of us would be happy to assist in any way, myself included. We want it to go as smoothly as possible too

This will be my first time down to MOTD, but certainly not my first time participating in runs/rallies.

I'm bring a roll of NO PARKING tape and a couple stakes to put in front of our cabin. People seem to miss that that's my driveway! I'll have extra tape if it can be put to good use.

I think it's the count down to the next goal number, IE 800

Think of it as summer camp for adults. But instead of waking up and choosing between arts & craft or archery, you get to choose driving the dragon, ziplines, or getting mods. Instead of hot chocolate at night, you get to have a beer as you walk from cabin to cabin and socialize with fellow MINI enthusiast.

You can visit the Schedule Page on the MOTD website to see what is going on each day

Not mention if you staying at Fontana your friends are your neighbors and there's a MINI in every driveway!! it's a great place to make friends from all over and get ideas for your next mod! there's not another thing like it, you'll go once and it'll get permanently put on ur calendar every year!

You know, I've never put that together and this will be number 7 for me! I never claimed to be the brightest penny in the purse.
