We've received so many requests for this grill set that we decided to add it even though the installation when installed on a stock Cooper or Cooper S front bumper requires modification.
If you really dig the look of the Black Aero Grill package that is part of the Aero kit but don't really want to do the whole body kit, than this is the ultimate solution. Fits both MINI Cooper and Cooper S. The upper grill is a straight swap, while the lower grill requires a bit of work to get it to fit on the stock bumper.
Can be purchased at any MINI dealer in person or at Out Motoring and many other vendors on the web.

Pros:
look of the grill kit at 1/13 the cost
Cons:
time to install the lower grill
I installed the kit on my 06 MCS... top grill was fairly straight forward...
bottom grill wasn't hard.. but did take plenty time to cut the new lower grill to fit and to drill/cut the new slots into the current front bumper cover...
get a dremel and make sure you measure 3 times before cutting the slots...lol

Pros:
More sporty/mean looking than OEM - 1/13th cheaper than Aero Bumper Kit
Cons:
PITA to install.
The top grill was a straight swap. The bottom was a PITA as you have to trim the plastic grill down to match the OEM grill and cut new grooves in the bumper cover for the aero plastic tabs... not really hard, just time consuming... definitely need a dremel... otherwise you'll be really hating life...

Pros:
looks sweet if you can get it to work, cheap
Cons:
cheap plastic, cheap adhesive on the back, doesnt really fit very well
i DO NOT recommend this product UNLESS you have alot of time and patience! because as youve seen before me, it is possible to get it to fit, and when you do get it on it looks mean! but it is a HUGE pain the neck. very inexpensive however so if youre not sure, go ahead and buy it and see what happens! if it doesnt work youre only out like $25
