Description: If you want to add a few gauges to your MINI this is a great way to do it-at less than 1/3 the cost of some of the other pods on the market. This dual pod guage panel is a perfect match for your MINI's interior, fitting right behind the cig litter and the two "cup holders". Not only does it fit just right, it looks just right too. Simply add your selected 2 1/16" gauges and wire them up and enjoy! For the best selection in gauges go to SummitRacing.com and search the VDO line or the AutoMeter line, both have great options. Fits both MINI Cooper and Cooper S.

Can be purchased at any MINI dealer in person or at Out Motoring and many other vendors on the web.

Pros: Well built, blends in nicely.
Cons: No instructions, fitment gaps

Overall a nice product but took some creativity to mount it so the gauges would be the most visible. If just following the contours of the panel and mounting it flush with the console, the top is tilted too far back making he gauges look like they are tucked back into a cave. By fashioning a couple of tapered standoffs out of nylon spacers the top was tilted forward and the gauges become more visible. I ended up gluing on some black felt strips to fill the fitment gaps and overall the panel is a nice addition to the interior.

Pros: OEM look, inexpensive, easy to install
Cons: Places the gauges out of line of sight

I purchased this because I wanted to add the full line of Marshall Instruments gauges to my MINI. I have the Boost, Oil Pressure, and Water Temp gauges up near the tach. I placed the Oil Temp and Voltmeter gauges in the lower panel. It was easy to install and it looks great.
