Sound is GREAT!
The install was quite easy IF you get gaskets with your catback. I didn't and had to wait about 2 weeks before I got some. I already had the one-ball exhaust, and while good for the penny pincher, I have learned from past experience to go with a proven catback. I have to aero kit, so I also had to get longer hangers(Autozone P/No: 17219).
Tips look awesome. System is quiet while cruising and a little louder than stock at WOT. No drone at all.
I give it 5 stars!

I love the Miltek, I think it has a much more refined sound than the Borla and doesn't drone at freeway speeds the way the Borla race does. Nice little bump in power (butt Dyno'd!) as well. For me, the perfect combination of sport sound without getting Ricey!!!

A quality product that installed without any issues, is quiet at constant speed (NO drone - very important) and provides a refined sound when accelerating... Would score a 10 if it was just a tad louder... Still, much better than the JCW cat-back...

This is the ideal exhaust, just so silent when driving normal soon as you put your foot down its turns the Mini S into a v8 supercar.. Love this exhaust

sweeeeeeeeet... It sounds AMAZING! It's hardly louder inside the car with NO noticeable droning which i even encountered with the stock system but much meaner and louder outside. Great fit too! No problems there everything seemed to bolt right up to everything. Did it by myself with a little help from one other person in 2 hours. Nice little extra bit of pull (butt dyno) both in low and high rpms! i only wish mcs exhaust systems werent so expensive...

I've sold more of these than ANY other brand exhaust. The System fits great right out of the box, is lighter than stock by about 15lbs. The Tips have a great look. The Sound is GREAT, pretty quiet at idle, but has a great tone once you get on it, and has NO drone like many other systems. And it does make real power and torque. As for Warranty Milltek will stand behind their product 100%

Waylon at Way Motor Works installed this Milltec catback system for me and did a quick professional job. The exhaust looks and sounds good. Considering I went from a stock exhaust to the Milltec there was a noticeable improvement in power. The exhaust has got a nice lower town at idle and is not at all bothersome at WOT. In fact, my only regret is that the exhaust is not a little louder. Its pretty quiet considering what I had been hearing and reading from other people, but thats a pretty minor complaint. At some point I will have a header installed and that should bring the sound level up right where I want it!

I purchased and had Way from Way Motor Works install my Miltek exhaust system about 3 years ago and it has been a great addition to my motoring experience.
Just the right amount of added exhaust note and power increase.
Highly recommend Way Motor Works and the exhaust system.

Poorly engineered for the R-56
|
|
If you want to have this system then you will have to have it modified to fit properly on your 2011 R-56 MCS, at your expense. After fixing this new product it sounds good. Only slight increase in cabin noise but it is a deeper sound which I like.
I would not buy this product again. Poor support by the Importer and the Dealer.
Check out my write up on this product.

great sound, great look , good power

Cons:

hangers are 1/4" too short
|
|
my second Miltek purchase for 2 different vehicles, definately top of the line in exhausts. Only issue was the hangers were approx. 1/4" too short so I used some 1/4" thick aluminum bar stock, cut (4) pieces and drilled holes to shim down the (4) hanger brackets. After that everything was a great fit.
