Pros: answered emails quick and made a great custom product for me.
Cons: none

Read the reviews how could you go wrong? Did a great job on my shift knob and also the others I have seen.

Pros: Great to work with. Very high build quality. Feels great when shifting.

I am very glad that I got this knob. It looks great, feels great and designing my own was a lot of fun.

Pros: Great guy to work with. Very high quality. Custom one of a kind knob.
Cons: None

Purchased my custom shift knob 5/08. Doug created a unique custom design based on my own preferences. I used one of his existing designs on his website, but had it modified to include some custom touches. He is prompt with his replies. The whole transaction from custom design to completed knob in my hands was only a week. I really think it improves the shift feel. Well worth the money. Great person to deal with.

Doug worked with me during the mock up phase to ensure the final proof of my custom design was exactly what I wanted. He answered all my questions in a prompt and timely fashion. Doug's approach to customer service and his attention to detail was beyond Exceptional!!!

Doug delivers a product that he is proud to put his name on and I am proud to add as a mod to on my MINI.

I won a custom one at MOT. I love it. Doug is so helpful with the design process, very professional. When the box came in the mail, I ripped it open as if I was opening gifts on Christmas morning. The weight of it is amazing. It almost throws my car into gear. The knob is so well made, and gorgeous. I sometimes catch myself just rubbing it while sitting in traffic. I highly reccomend his product. WAY worth the price (was planning on buying one anyways)

Pros: Excellent quality.
Cons: Pricey for a shift knob.

Pricey, I'm not sure its worth the bucks for any performance gain, but I like it.

Pros: precision engineering
Cons:

Beautiful simplicity with precision assembly..the transmission is no different but the gearbox somehow feels more like what I 'imagine' a Ford GT would feel like...this isn't a Pep-Auto product and it's obvious to ANYONE who has given it any more than a moment's notice...this is QUALITY.
I wonder if Doug Whalen is German...??

Pros: Fit, finish, customer service
Cons:

I have a 09 JCW Clubman. Stationed in Germany. Worked with Doug Whalen to choose, and ship my products.
Working with this company is an absolute pleasure.
The shift knob, and emergency brake handle are pieces of perfection.

Shipping to an APO is no problem for Whalen. What a joy. Now I can zoom around Germany with my Clubman and show off my personal touches.

Kudos, accolades, and my heartfelt thanks to Whalen.
