Description: Stiffen Your Chassis to Improve Handling. NM Engineering’s Upper Tie-Bar is designed to reinforce the already stellar MINI Cooper chassis. Installation reduces fore and aft, as well as side-to-side chassis flex during spirited driving, which helps to eliminate unwanted geometry/alignment change. This results in better steering response and better handling.

Superb Engineering & Quality

* Strong mounting plates made from 6061-T6
o Machined underside to clear upper strut bearing locator pin
o Hard anodized finish is long lasting
* Twin mounting bolts secure bar to mounting plate to eliminate pivoting
o Single bolt designs will flex when put under load - reducing effectiveness
* More secure shoulder nuts (see picture below)
o Long reach design insures that bar is secured to suspension by more than just a few threads

Protect Your Strut Tower from 'Mushroom' Deformation

* Mounting plates strengthen the strut/shock towers

Stiffen Chassis

* Improved handling and turn-in
* Reduce long term squeeks and rattles

True Bolt-on & Proper Fitment

Pros: increased confidence in flat corners. better tread wear.
Cons: none

This product really compliments the front and rear sway bars I have in place. I can feel a lot less sway from the upper part of the car. Increased body roll rigidity.
