While there are a number of armrests on the market for the MINI, according to Out Motoring, none have the right combination of style, adjustability, fit, function and appeal as this one. Many other armrests on the market look out of place, blocky, or just not right; while they have certain merits, Out Motoring has worked to offer something that has it all together.
Simple, graceful arc design fits well with the MINI interior while the soft, oval arm pad continues the oval theme of the door panels and other interior elements. Color is a very close match to the major plastic components in the MINI interior and matches the Leatherette and the Panther Black Leather fairly well. Slots in the metal base matched with thumbscrews allow for quick front to back adjsutment of the pad. Drivers of both short and tall stature should be able to fine tune its placement to their liking. Laser cut from nearly 1/4" Stainless Steel, construction is durable yet classy, adding a sort of jewelry-like effect. Available in a straight grain 'brushed' look.
The ARC armrest features a built-in cupholder which replaces the one that is displaced by the mounting structure. Rubber gasket-like fingers hold beverages in place while a rubber base keeps rattles at bay.
Installation of the ARC armrest is a easy, taking approximately 15 minutes.
