Description: The street intake opens up the intake and allow the engine to take in as much air as possible, increasing power, providing better throttle response and faster turbo spool. The Street intake was designed to be a two stage system, as a standalone intake or working with the Ram Air Scoop which feeds high pressure ambient air to the filter, further increasing throttle response and power from the engine. The filter allows the sound of the turbo spooling up and the blow off noise of the bypass valve to be heard during shifting.

We have installed this on several customers cars and they have really enjoyed the benefits this intake has brought to their R56.

Pros: Excelletn contructions, great sound.
Cons:

I had the street CAI installed at AMVIV in April. Easy install and and no CELs. K&N Filter element, well thought out product with excellent construction. My R56 spools up much faster and I love the sound of this CAI.

Pros: Sounds great. Good price compared to competition.
Cons: Would be nice if it was compatible with an AEM Dryflow filter.

I purchased this intake from Way Motor Works and Way installed it two days ago. I love the way the car sounds now. It's not obnoxiously loud, I can hear the turbo, and it gives the car some more of the character the engine noise has been missing.

Pros: Performance and sound
Cons:

I installed this intake a month ago and really love the sound. I noticed a huge difference between the stock intake and the DDM from Way Motor Works. The sound is just incredible. Engine response is night and day. Even my wife likes it. The only downside for those that really care about gas mileage, I seemed to lose 2mpg... OH WELL. 25mpg is still great when you drive 100 everywhere. Great product!!

Pros: Easy install, opens up sound from the turbo
Cons:

Installed this system last night and took it for a spin this afternoon. Installation was simple and completed in just a few minutes. There are two differences between the instructions and the product picture. First, the Air Flow Meter (Mass Air Sensor) is actually mounted to the kit's filter box instead of of the factory location. Second, a K&N filter, without sock, is enclosed.

Overall my impressions are positive and I love the sound that comes from under the hood. I did enlarge the hole where the air flow meter is attached to allow for a flush mount. This reduced the strain placed on the lobes by the hardware.

This kit is certainly a cheaper alternative to some of the other aftermarket air intakes. If you want to upgrade the remaining piping from the Air Flow Meter to turbo inlet at a later date, K&N will sell individual components of their Typhoon system (69-2004TTK).

Kudos to WMW for the quick shipment!
