Simply connect the ScanGaugeII to your vehicle through it's OBDII port using the included cable, turn the ignition key and the ScanGaugeII automatically connects to your cars internal computer - it's that simple.

Features:

Pros: Very easy to use, lots of features
Cons: None

I've had a ScangaugeII for my MCS for a couple years, and just got another one so it can live in one of our other cars. They're great, especially if you don't have stock diameter tires or if your speedo reads high anyway (like our MINIs do), since you can adjust for that in the displayed mph. Lots of other data is available, using the OEM sensors that are already in the car. Way's great to deal with too - highly recommended!

Pros: Easy to connect and use, Great deal of functionality
Cons: None

I got the ScanGauge II from Way Motor Works at the 2008 MOTD and have been using it constantly since. It provides great information on how the car is running that is not normally available without adding multiple gauges and sensors. This is definitely one "mod" eveyone should consider.

I have to concur with 90STX that Way is great to deal with - Highly recommended!

Pros: Everything
Cons: None

I had to get it after a friend of mine got one and I played around with it a little. Scangauge II is a secret too well kept. I like to see info about my car but I'm not a fan of having 12 gauges staring you in the face. With Scangauge you select the gauges you want (will display up to four) in custom colored backgrounds with the ability to program custom ones. It's straight forward, all you do is plug it into the vehicles onboard diagnostic port and go to town. Now go buy one, you wont regret it!

Pros:
Cons:

I bought mine from Way Motor Works at MOTD. Great mod. I now monitor, among other things, my intake temperature, water temperature, alternator output and boost. great addition to the OEM guages. I would highly recommend it.

Pros: Displays gauges that MINI forgot to put on the car, programmability
Cons: X-gauge programming is cryptic

A OBD Code reader/resetter, gauge display, and trip/gas calculator all in one little box. Don't leave home without it

Pros: Easy connect, adds many gauges that MINI should have included, X-gauge feature is nice..
Cons: none..

Got this from Way. It is a great little device to have in the MINI.. Like many others have shared above it has many capabilities. It even has the ability to match the MINI orange dash lighting..
