The pads made a huge difference in how my R56s stopped. They really make a huge difference in my car made it feel like it had a bbk on it. i would buy them again any day.

Called up Carbotech a couple of weeks ago and ordered a set of the new version Bobcats for my R56. (They gave me a 10% discount through the vette forum.) This is my 61st car/truck/motorcycle, and I've used about every brand of brake pad out there (EBC, Hawks, Axxis, Mintex, etc. etc.) I was sick and tired of having to clean my flame spoked every two days and had heard good things about these.
I have to say, unequivocally, that these are the best pads I've ever used. I had about 1900 miles on the car, so the rotors were pretty new, so I just slapped them in and bedded them. They are very smooth, even on the JCW rotors, and quiet. The bite and stopping power are most excellente. But the absolute best thing is that they are SOOOO much cleaner than the stock pads. I put almost 1,000 miles on them last week, including running in the rain, and the wheels still didn't look 1/4 as dirty as the stock pads after 2 days in the dry.
I didn't see many posts reviewing these, so thought I would add here and in the product reviews.
If there is anyone debating whether these are worth the money to quit having to constantly have black wheels, quit thinking about them and order.
You won't regret it.

AX6 pads - great stopping power
Cons:
still quite a bit of dust and brake squeal
Helped me greatly in autox. Can go deeper before the turn before getting on the brakes. Much stronger than the stock pads but they do squeal in normal traffic situations. I've tried removing them and applying anti-squeal grease again but that only helped for about 24 hours.

My OEM brakes had a sudden grab. These decrease by your pressure increasing on the pedal. Just like brakes are supposed to feel. The dust is 100% reduced from OEM. I will buy these again.
