sent defective products, won't reply to emails

ordered set of 6 badges from their website, linked from nam.
order arrived soon enough, but two of the checkered-flag badges have black specks on the white parts (not just dirty, actually part of the print it appears... the black specks won't rub off), one of the badges wasn't sent, the packing slip did note that it was backordered.
two emails to them asking 1) for a refund or replacement of the defective badges and 2) an estimate of when the backordered badge would arrive or a refund, because it was for a birthday present that will likely now be late...
no response to either email, and obviously no resolution to the defective and backordered badges.
why would anyone do business with companies that ignore their customers?

After reading the thread about the problems others were having with this company, I ordered regardless. They made the badge I really wanted and after not being able to find it elsewhere, I figured it was worth a shot. I wasted far more money on far less. 
I ordered a badge and decal on 4/10/08. I immediated received an email stating my order had been received. The next day, I received another email with a UPS tracking number with expected delivery date.
The package came on the expected day. Both the badge and decal are perfect. I had a great experience.

Haven't received the exterior eyes I ordered 3 months ago, won't reply to emails, took the money though, and hasn't let us know when to expect a product

I definitely would not recommend this vendor to anyone, not only will they take your money when you send it and not answer you when you ask why the product is 3 months late, when they finally do answer, they say they don't know if we'll get it before the next few months go by!!!
