Description: The stock MINI Cooper chassis is set up for general everyday use with an emphasis on comfort. These improved engine bushings with ingenious void inserts reduce the amount of movement by filling in the voids in the mounts with softer compound polyurethane. Limiting engine and transmission movement in the MINI Cooper has many benefits, smoother power transmission to the wheels eliminating the intense wheel hop when spinning the tires, less movement of the shifter cables allowing the transmission gears to stay fully connected, less flex on all connected engine components including the exhaust system.

This very kit is used in Grand Am Cup MINI Cooper race car and on or MINI Cooper Challenge car.

Pros: Engine stays low, In an Auto Mini Shifting is at a slightly higher RPM
Cons: Drink holder shakes, Cabin quivers when engine is cold

45min install,
It keeps the my front wheels from hopping from a dead stop, and the Mini Cooper S seems to "pull" from a little lower then before. Everytime I added a mod i noted that the front pulled up a little higher each time. This keeps the power lower, and where it needs to be. I wont lie, you will notice when the motor is cold (first minute or so) but your foot really feels apart of the car after you install it. No one mentioned it before, but when I installed it, I have an Automatic (shifters on the wheel), the point at which the car shifts has moved slightly higher on the RPM. Fun mod and easy install, but your wife wont like it.
