If you have the optional John Cooper Works air intake then you've got some work to do. When John Cooper Works created their Mini Cooper S airbox they neglected to use a high flow performance air filter. Unfortunately, their JCW Mini Cooper S air box still uses a paper filter element, which is very restrictive, significantly limiting airflow.
