LightInSight is a unique new product that fills a need many people have recognized but didn't know an inexpensive solution existed. LightInSight is a clear windshield mounted fresnel lens for assisting drivers in seeing traffic lights that would not be in the driver's normal field of view.
Drivers of all kinds of cars and trucks can sometimes be seen at traffic lights, scrunching down, craning their necks to see when the light changes above them. LightInSight can help. It is especially helpful for taller drivers, drivers in smaller cars, delivery vans and trucks, and drivers with a mobility problem, such as a neck or back problem. Sometimes, the position of the traffic light itself is the problem. Also, people who have pulled into the intersection, trying to turn left, not finding a break in traffic, and waiting for the light to change to yellow, find themselves not having to take their eyes off of the intersection to proceed safely through it, when using their LightInSight.
LightInSight is self-adhering, easily removable, and reusable. It is installed at the top of the windshield, using only a wet paper towel or clean rag. LightInSight is made of optical quality, flexible, vinyl and measures approximately 7" by 1 1/2". U.S. patent #6,108,141 was issued in August 2000.

Pros:
Solves a problem inexpensively, easy to install
Cons:
Makes cleaning of interior side of windshield a little harder
I love this thing. No more craning my neck to see traffic lights. It is also transferable from one windshield to the next, though I did get a bubble second time around. A good simple mod the Mini really needs. The only disadvantage is that I don't think it adds to the appearance of my car - kind of looks like a "Grandpa" thing.

Simple, effective, worthwhile

I have had the Light n Sight for so long I don't recall what I paid for it.
But, it worth every penny! The lens enables the driver to see stop and turn lights almost to the point where you're directly under them. Doesn't interfere with normal driving vision, either.

Really does as it says
Cons:
Harder to clean windscreen after install
Great addition, Works just as advertised. No more craning your neck to see the lights. Only bad is sometimes the street signs to the side of the car will flash through at speed and you peripheral vision will pick up on it and make you look for whatever it was.
