Pros: nice hp boost
Cons: none

Just got back from Way's with the new Way/DDM intake on my R50. Totally impressed - with the product and the service. The performance uptick was even better than the CAI Way put on my R53 a couple of months back (which I also recommend for the S crowd). Sounds great and performance is above my expectations. Plus as usual got some good info from Way for some of my wish list mods

If you don't yet have one of these Way/DDM intakes on your Cooper - get one soon (hell, Way will be at the Dragon so no excuses). As for me,,, out motoring!

Pros:
Cons:

I have been dealing with Way since he 1st started coming to Atlanta doing 'Mod"parties .

Way not only stands behind his work but has stepped up to the plate for me BIG TIME when I had failure issues with other's components he installed for me. Their talk was cheap, he backed it with action and untold dollars in labor to find a resolution. He is the guy who stays late in the evenings or makes time on a weekend to help a Mini owner out of a bind. Can't ask much more than that.

As others have mentioned, Way will not try sell you on the latest "internet feeding frenzy" but will often try talk you out of spending unneeded $

Good guy to deal with who will help you stay sane in your spending to get you the most bang for your buck. OK, well maybe not sane if you look at the mod list on my car...

Pros: awesome mechanic and expert customer service
Cons: not one negative to note

Way is the one person I trust to take care of my MINI with aftermarket goodies. My 2006 Cooper S convertible was stock for about 2 weeks just to get through break-in period before I handed the keys to Way so he could work his magic. Now its the perfect MINI! She's got coilovers, understrut system, rear sway bar, front strut brace, trailing arms, Way's pulley, and more... plus the super awesome Dimsport Tune by Way.

Pros: Everything.
Cons:

Way's guys installed my 15%, colder plugs, and tensioner stop at MOTD 2009. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get the thing done, especially considering I have the automatic with 0.01" clearance on the pulley side of the engine. When I asked Way what his warranty is like, he said, "If something goes wrong, which is unlikely, you call me and I fix it. Either you come to my shop, I'll find someone local to you, or I'll come up there and fix it myself." I have to say, for someone to be in this business and come as well-recommended as Way Motor Works does, I know it's true. Honestly though, I have never heard anything negative about WMW, and I have every belief that I probably won't have to take him up on that warranty - but he'll stand by his product and his work if I do.

Pros: Nice performance improvement
Cons: None yet

I just visited the MITM this last weekend and stopped by the Way Motor Works booth. Long story short, they installed a 15% pulley on my 02 MCS and I have been very pleased first with their help, attitude, and work and with how well the mod has affected the driveability of the car. Before it was like there was a lag between the gas pedal and the engine. Now that is much reduced. Also now it is not necessary to rev the engine just to leave a stop sign. They also noticed that my car needed new control arm bushing and just let me know about it. No hard sell, just good information. I would certainly do business with them again.

Pros: Great service more power and better brakes
Cons: Helping the economy

Way Motor Works installed his complete pulley kit and complete brake kit, with a refash to the chip in the RAIN at MITM 4 this year and did a great job. The car runs alot faster and stops better. Great Job sorry you guys had to do it in the rain

Pros: Very knowledgable - and best value
Cons: none

Called Waylan to purchase a supercharger pulley and crank pulley - and after talking to him, decided instead to just use his 17% pulley package, with belt, tensioner stop, and plugs. He was willing to sell me whatever I wanted, but after listening to his rationale about the setup, bought the package. It saved me over $300 (including install) from what I was going to spend, and a better result! Called a month later wanting camber plates to fix the mushrooming problem, and again Waylan discussed various options, and I decided to go with M7 strut plates instead - saving me more money! Gotta love a vendor that's willing to consider what you really need, rather than just trying to sell you a bunch of parts. I'll keep using Waylan for all my parts.

Pros:
Cons:

My H-Sport progressive lowering springs and OEM suspension bushings were being victimized by our "wonderful" Ohio roads, so Waylen replaced the springs with TSWs, the OEM bushings with poly ones, and the OEM front swaybar with a beefier one. WOW...what a difference! Gone is the bone-jarring ride, and the new front swaybar really stabilized the front end for the BMW CCA HPDE I did at Mid Ohio last weekend.

Waylen has never steered me wrong on things I have had installed on my R50 or R53. I trust his observations and advice completely. Not only does he stand behind what he services and sells, but he aso stands behind the repairs he makes to cars brought in to him for service. I have dealt with Way since early '05, having just met him in late '04. I particularly like the way he checks over my cars and tells me things he has observed that the dealer has missed in past inspections...I then go home and return to the dealer, who just cannot believe they had missed this or that!! Yep, going to Way is THE Way to go, IMVHO! For me, it is well worth the 250 mile roundtrip drive over to Indianapolis and back home, knowing that my cars have been serviced correctly! Thanks again, Way!

Cons: Zippo

Pros: Fast shipping, no hassles
Cons: None at all

Purchased the strut tower defenders, auto up window switch, led dome lights, switch panel, and cup link. Extremely fast shipping and great customer service. Got a personal email from Way saying that the cuplink was shipping directly from Mini Fini and wasn't in with the rest of the order. When I didnt get the cuplink, I sent another email and he got on it right away. Great customer service!

Pros: Powerflex LCA bushing pre-pressed
Cons: None

I purchased Powerflex bushing pre-pressed into the Brackets from Way Motor Works. The phone support and knowledge provided by Way made this a very do-able project. I replaced the brackets using a procedure that I put together from two other ones on NAM, and updated after completing the project. Way was the first to offer this service of buying the brackets with the bushings pre-pressed in. This made the project so much simpler. Don't try to press the new ones yourself, have Way do it before you start! This is the only "Way" to go. I will be doing this project again next month on my son’s mini with brackets with Powerflex bushings pre-pressed from Way Motor Works.
