Description: Existing OEM products are combined with well engineered and fully track-tested parts bring world-class braking performance to you for bargain basement pricing.

* Outlaw 4-piston billet aluminum race calipers made to Detroit Tuned's specs.
* Red or Black Calipers at no extra charge!
* Massive one-piece directionally vented rotors: 12.8"x1.2" on the 17" kit, 11.6"x1.2" on the 16" kit.
* Stainless Brake Lines w/OEM Bushings for a perfect fit.
* Laser Cut Brackets and heavy-duty hardware included
* Optional Cryogenically treated rotors for an extra $135.00 (great for heavily tracked cars!)
* Your choice of several brands and compounds of brake pads will allow absolutely fade-free performance from the street to 24 hour endurance applications!

Every DT BBK comes with full how-to instructions with great photos. Easy to install in about 2 hour.

Note: This kit will not fit most stock wheels without spacers. The 17" kit will fit the 17" R90 and R99 wheels without any problems.

Pros: Great braking power, quality parts used.
Cons:

This kit is really great. For the price asked, I couldn't be happier. It really gets the job done. I am still in the break-in period but so far, I am very satisfied.

Pros: Increased braking capacity, replacement pad cost
Cons: rotors are expensive and heavy

I bought the DT BBK used a long, long time ago. I got it used for $400 needing rotors. Anyway, it uses the Outlaw 2000 caliper (Wilwood clone) and good pads are about 1/3rd the cost of stockers for the Mini Cooper S. Overall, this is a good kit and Chad (I hear) is working on an Al hat bolt on rotor kit that should lower unsprung weight when compared to the rotors that it comes with now. Next time I need rotors I'll be going to either his kit (if it's out in time) or making a Al hat based replacement myself.
