Minicorsa was established in 2006 by Danny Darwichian. Having spent most of his life collecting and repairing vintage cars and being a Mini enthusiast, he now has the opportunity to do what he does best as a profession. As a technician, he has the expertise and equipment to customize your mini to its peak performance.
Minicorsa is an independent Mini Cooper service, repair and upgrade facility based out of Van Nuys, California. Our primary business is performance and race preparation for only Mini’s. Minicorsa has the proper tools and diagnostic equipment to perform all service to your MINI. We can do absolutely anything for the New Mini, from tuning to bodywork. We have our own engineering resources to make callipers, discs, pulleys and charge coolers.
We want to make the Mini an even better car. Check out our engine, handling and braking enhancements for your Cooper S. We’ve got supercharger upgrades as well as engine upgrades. We have a wide variety of brake and suspension components and we install a whole host of suspension enhancements from simple strut tower braces right through complete racing coil-over kits. Our chip tuning, performed by our exclusive programmer, can give you a better drive.
In addition,we offer intake systems for maximum performance, braking system upgrades, race & track performance parts, etc. Minicorsa strives to provide the driver with the most advanced automotive products. Like our customers, we motor and we motor good.

He has installed supercharger, cylinder head, cross coil overs, and done miscellaneous meintenance. I won't go to anyone else.
He is a racer and knows what works for minis. He works with Jan a lot, so it all makes sense.

Danny installed a set of springs on my R56. I set an appointment with him and when I arrived, he took the car right in. 75 minutes later, I was back on the road! He took time to answer all my questions, point out some differences on my R56 compared to the R53, and offered up a couple of other performance mods.
I'm definitely using MiniCorsa for all my future Mini service /mods.

Danny installed my RMW Head. He was very efficient when doing so and saved a lot of time by getting in and doing he work. Very contentious about doing the job better then right the first time. After He finished I drove the car back to TX, 1400 miles, with nary a hiccup. Highly recommend Danny and his shop.

Danny replaced my SC belt with the correct fitting one. I purchased my MINI used and the previous owner had put on a 16% pulley using the stock belt. Danny replaced the belt very quickly and at a reasonable price, and also gave me additional recommendations for the future.

Another big TU for Danny. Not only did he save my butt on the track with some creative and dedicated wrenching on a Friday, but also restored everything back to knew the following Saturday. Fast, efficient and prices that remind me of that one weekend in Tijuana... If you are in Los Angeles area and own a Mini, Danny is the man to see.

I've only had my 03 MINI R50 for around a month. Once i found out about Danny i gave him a call and he answered all my questions. And that's a tough thing to do because as Danny will attest... i am slightly OCD  .
The MINI although in good shape had been slightly neglected so i took it to him for the inspection 1. Not only did he do the entire Inspection 1 service including a CVT flush but, he also installed new camber plates for around 1/2 the price of the dealers Inspection 1 price alone! I arrived early for my
appointment and he got right to work on my MINI. after about 2 hours i was back on the road!
Danny, is a good guy. He made HONEST recommendations on what i would need to do in the upcoming months (brakes) and gave me quotes which he printed on my service receipt so i would remember the cost for them.
i highly recommend him and i know for a fact it is HARD to find an HONEST mechanic here in Los Angeles. i've found one now and i will continue to go back to minicorsa for as long as i own my MINI and when i get a new one when it's time to say goodbye to my '03. In other words, i'll be a customer for life!

Just to follow up on my previous review: i've been back to danny a few times since then. recently i had my passenger window mechanism go out on me in the open position- bad thing. it was a sunday and i felt bad for calling him but, really didn't want to have an open window for an extended time on the MINI. he answered and the next morning he had my passenger window issue (cables) AND he replaced my drivers side door lock actuator that i had been putting off in less than 2 hours. also he's replaced my front brakes and rotors and installed a brand new megan exhaust sytem. again all done well, and at good prices.
again, danny's a real good guy... he has to be to put up with me! i know he thinks i'm a nut job sometmes but, he also knows i'm a loyal customer. we can have a laugh at stuff too.

Danny performs excellent work expediently at a competitive price. As someone mentioned before, there is no flat-panel television and over-sized fluffy coach for customers, but who needs it. I very much prefer to be with the mechanic under the MINI.

He really knows his Minis, does good work--a fine mechanic who is also a racer hardly exists. He knows what works and doesn't, won't steer you wrong.

i recently bought a mini S, i am so use to very expensive exotic cars. the mini is awsome. i found Danny at Mini Corsa on line went to his shop and he was great. he knew the mini in & out and only suggested products that would help my performance and didnt try to over sell me on products the wouldnt help my performance. i did many upgrades the prices were very fair and service was next to none! if you have a mini you must call Danny @ Mini Corsa, he rocks!!!!!!!!

Danny is awesome. he installed my Pulley in less than an hour. When I went in I thought I was going to be waiting around half the day but he's very knowledgable and is a really nice guy also. I would deffinitly go back and get more stuff done at his shop.
