Pros: quite, cheaper than oem (dunlop) replacements
Cons: none so far

Came up on 22K mile on the OEM Dunlop 3000 DSST for my 06 MCS. I probably could of got to about 25K... But I couldn't pass state inspection that was due now. Dealer quoted me $1K to replace the four and another $300 for alignment. Tire Rack had the Dunlop for $167 and these for $111 with all good reviews. I had the 4 drop ship to an installed that would do alignments... total was $750 for the whole deal... tires, shipping, swap, balance and alignment.

I have had them for about 700 miles so far and love them... Good grip and very quite on the roads. Definitely more quite than the Dunlops were. I am interested to see how long they last before I need replacements.

Pros: Far quieter and dramatically better ride vs. Pirelli Eufori
Cons: Dry road handling not quite as crisp as Pirelli Eufori

Bought them in the run flat version for my GF's '03 MCS at Tirerack. Far quieter and dramatically better ride than the previously installed Pirelli Eufori's. I've had repeated problems with low profile Pirelli tires being far too easily damaged by potholes. Since these are all season tires, they are better in the snow than the Pirelli's, although the Pirelli's really were not that bad in the snow considering that they are marketed as a summer tire. The dry road handling of these tires is not quite as good as the Pirelli's, but for our type of driving "spirited commuting" I'll take this tradeoff versus the dramatically more comfortable ride any day. The ride quality of the run flat Eufori's was nothing short of brutal!

Pros: very durable for sprited driver
Cons: expensive

I have just reached 42K miles (yes, pretty unbelievable) on my MCS 2007. Original tires were the ProContacts. After researching other run flats, I couldn't find anything that would give me a better combination of tread life and noise reduction. Knowing that this tire has served me well, I figure it was worth it to get another set.

This ProContact is a 400 triple A rated tire, compared to the Kuhmo's 340. Granted Kuhmos price out between $170-$190 each but only give about 25k miles (I was told by various tire warehouses). My Procontacts give about 36k miles. In my case, I have squeezed out 42k miles. I am averaging about 10.5k miles/year and plan on keeping the car so I figure I will get another 3.5-4 years on my new set.
