You need your MINI OEM 'Paint Name' to get the right color pen for your vehicle. MINI has made paint color matching easy by using the name of the paint color as the "code". This OEM paint name is easily found under the hood. The paint color name label is located adjacent to the headlight washer reservoir filler on the right shock tower (see picture below.).

The OEM paint name is found on a sticker on the right passenger's side near radiator under hood on most MINI vehicles.

Bought 1 of these pens 4 Scoopie last year and have only used it once. Highway stones/debris left all sorts of little chips, so I filled 'em in and the paint hasn't moved since. Scraped the rear bumper against a concrete wall while parking at work (I know, I know *sigh*) and used the pen there, 2--same result.
Parking in DC can be rough, esp. when folks squeeeeze in behind or in front of u--and don't give a damn about your vehicle. So far, that hasn't happened (I'm pretty careful about where I park and the distance between Scoopie and others), so, after 2 years, we've been lucky. Highly recommend; communication w/vendor always timely and product arrived w/in a few days, instructions included.
