Description:	A plug and play controller that allows custom tuning of air/fuel ratio and ignition timing at multiple loads and RPM ranges while also raising redline. According to Webb Motorsports there have been more than 10 different mapping solutions developed based on the type of modifications made to the car. For each kit there are two maps included - one for street and the other for race quality fuel. Additionally you can return to stock ECU mapping easily and updates to the stock ECU do not effect the Unichip control module. Torque and horsepower numbers vary based on the modification level of the car and the mapping used. Typical gains are in the 9-10 horsepower and 8 ft/lbs of torque range but some states of tune have resulted in higher gains. This kit includes a harness with OEM connectors and the Unichip control module.

Pros:	Unit works well
Cons:	took a while to get it \"dialed\" in

Standard maps work well with usual first mods. When the number of mods goes up a custom tune is recommended.

Pros:	Good idea
Cons:	Doesn't work

My chip has been reprogramed 3 x and I have had the harness repaired once and replaced once and still puts the car in limp mode when I mash on the gas. Had to take it out, now it sits in my garage collecting dust.
Unichips customer service is poor. They won't refund my money nor will they resolve the problem. Do a "search" they have all kinds all kinds of problems.
If you want to get your moneys worth go with something else.
