Description: Prima Clay features outstanding grabbing qualities, a sticky texture and efficient results. Detailing Clay is a non-abrasive malleable bar that is used to remove industrial fallout, acid rain deposits, paint overspray, rail dust, brake dust, tree sap, hard water spots and much more.

When should you clay? If you gently run your fingers along your paint and you feel tiny specs, it is probably time to clay. Don't feel anything? Try putting your hand in a sandwich baggie and touching the paint again. You will really feel the bumps on your paint.

You must use a lubricant when claying. The clay lubricating agent helps glide the clay along the surface of the car. Without lubrication, the clay would "grab" on the paint and leave a trail of scuff marks.
For best results cut the clay into three pieces. Prima clay is rather sticky which means there is less of a chance of dropping it while you work. If you should happen to drop a piece of clay, we recommended you throw it out and use a fresh piece.

Pros: Does not get soggy or mushy, easy to knead.
Cons: I want a nice Prima Clay container

By far the easist clay to use out of Mothers, Griots, and some other
off-the-shelf ones I tried in the past.

The clay feels a little dry vs the others i tried, but it tears apart
easily making it easy to knead together.

The clay did not harden like Mother's even at 50F. The light gray
color makes it easy to detect contaminants in the clay.

Since Prima products all come with a nice salon look, I would like
(even if sold separately) a nice clay container. Afterall, detailing
is not just about the car, it is the experience and the decore of the
garage shelf.
