Pros:
Huge and beautifully made
Cons:
doesn't bolt right in, requires fitment
Made in England by GT Tuning. Craftmanship is exceptional. HUGE - possibly the largest one available for the MCS. Quick ship and well packed. Instructions short and clear supported by pics.
This IC is not for the enthusiast that wants to unbolt the stock IC and bolt up the new IC. It requires some grinding of the engine so that it fits properly and doesn't rub. It requires some plastic removal from the underside of the hood. It requires that the boot brackets be ground. All of which can easily be done with a dremel but it all needs to be done.
The IC is unique in two ways - 1) it is designed to float that is to say that it is held in place only by the rubber horn boots. GTT logic is less engine vibration this way. I believe that it will allow more flexibility when matching up the diverter to the hood. 2) End tank design which GTT believes enhances airflow (which might be the case) however this design can also cause the rubber boots to slide breaking the seal. I received a GTT "fix kit" for this problem but it did not work me and had to come up w/ my own solution.
If you are the type that likes to make each install his own, this IC is for you.
