Description: So you just added a larger intercooler to your trusty steed, and a huge boost in horsepower was your expectation - what happened??

It's very simple - the air required to wash over and cool the intercooler does not have enough velocity with the stock scoop configuration. This keeps the temperature Delta fairly low.

With the new M7 Scoop you will have a much cooler intercooler and more power to the engine, negating the typical heat soak that is the norm with the stock intercooler.

The new M7 Scoop also has a sturdy design made of gelcoated fiberglass, and includes factory mounting points for an extremely easy installation, and fits well with the lines of your Cooper S.

Also available matched to any body color for $120 extra.

Pros: aggressive look and more air to the intercooler
Cons: cost is a bit high but still worth it

the quality of the design and the actual product is amazing. i had my painted chilli red to match my car. the paint is high quality as well. the install is very quick and it was simple. i did have to drill out a hole about a 1mm in one direction to make the bolts go in, the threads just rubbed on the screw hole but not a problem. after it was installed, it makes the car look so much more aggressive and just cool looking. i recommend anyone wanting to make their car stand out from all the stock mini's out there to get this mod. it's wonderful. and you get the added benefit of more air to the intercooler. M7 says it drops the temp on the intercooler about 10 degrees. Add an alta air diverter and you'll really get the air into the intercooler.

i highly recommend the M7 extreme hood scoop. it'll make your car stand out, look really aggressive and make your intercooler cooler. it's a win-win situation.
