The brake light kit allows you to activate the two lights which were designed to be for fog and are not connected for US cars. The end result is that 5 lights light up (2 on each side and 1 center) when you apply the brakes instead of 3 - making you SUPER visible.
The kit is comprised of just wires, self taping wire connectors, a resistor, shrink rap and clear instructions - for about 12.00.
Install took about 15 minutes.
Considering the cost / time invloved - I think its well worth it. For the devout do it yourselfer, all of the parts can be sourced at radio shack.
Either way you do it - I recommend doing it just from an extra safety perspective.

Not having those ugly block off plates, More brake lights to be seen

The only thing missing from my MCS were rear fog lights. To me, this is way better then having rear fog lights. Installation is straight-foward. If you hate those rear fog light delete plates, I would definately get this kit, well worth the money!
