Ok, so I bought this car from a VW dealer, I am the first of only two owners of this car, it was a local trade in for a new R32, clean CARFAX, I was building a new one just like this one when this one came up, previous owner paid close to $40k with all the add-ons, they all were installed by the MINI dealer in Mountain View CA, got it almost 2 years ago with 8,000 miles, since then, I sold my M3 and became a MINI enthusiast, but life is funny sometimes and I need a back seat at the same time that I can no longer have a car payment, sooooo, its not one of those easy things but I do hate to let it go, for the sake of the economy and my job making me take a furlong, no B.S. I owe $21819.00, hate when I read “my loss, your gain” ads. But the dealer offered me about that in trade-in value, however I don’t want a car payment for awhile so I figured maybe a MINI enthusiast would know what this car has and what it can do and buy it, the economy is bad right now but there are a lot of advantages to buying a MINI, easy parking, 27-32 MPG, free maint, easy to park, super cheap to ensure, super-freaking fun to drive, the JCW tuning kit puts out about 217 H.P. so its not like a regular “S” it doesn’t handle like a regular “S” and the few guys I see in GP’s look twice at mine on the road, K.B.B. is around $27000 without the extras listed, I just want to get out of it, and maybe have someone who knows its not like a Civic buy it, so at least it doesn’t feel like I screwed myself too bad, my wife said it was a bad purchase but she’s never right = ) it has about 33000 miles now, thanks.
