Description:

Sold the MINI and was planning on getting a old gen miata so i could still use these wheels, but I drove the new miata and liked it too much.
These are great GS starters for the MINI. At a national level youll need the hoosier's but these are probably less than .5 seconds slower and have more life in them than a new hoosier.
So the tires are:
Yokohama Advan Medium-Hard R compounds in 225/50R16

The wheels are:
Rota Slipstreams, 4x100mm pattern, 16X6.5 with 45mm offset and a 56.1 mm center bore in white
These are supposed to be in the 14-15 lb range
Tires have been used in autocross for ~1.5 years and seen one track day but due to the harder compound they are still have a decent amount of life left in them. The wheels were new with the tires, so they are in pretty good condition just a less than perfect finish since they are Rota's
I did a tread depth check with calipers of all the tires and here's how it came up (hard to get these measurements perfect):
Inside Outside
.180 .094
.170 .105
.180 .100
.180 .115
The insides have barely been worn due to being on a MINI with stock camber, and the edges are rounded. They can be remounted on the other edges. The tires aren't going to be quite as grippy as the Kuhmo's but they arent much worse and the shape is very forgiving for cars that arent running enough camber. They will fit on any 07 MINI with no spacer's and any older ones with a 1/4" spacer which I have a set of and are included. These will also fits many other vehicles with the 4x100 pattern such as 05 and older civics.
500 for these. The wheels alone are 500 new, and these are in good shape.

225 50 16? that's an odd size, ive heard of goign from 195 to 205, but 225? is that wider? i'm sorta ignorant when it comes to tires...how does that specific size affects the handling and performance?
will they be a fine fit for an 09 s?
wheels look good!, i'm in the market for soem white ones, i'll do some more research and perhaps we can do business
