Description:
|
Polished stainless steel Ultrik header with bored cat. For use on Cooper S '02 - '06. Came with my 04 S but I have no use for it. Was used for one season in the 2006 North American Mini Cooper Challenge (car won 1st place in Group 4).
Double Y, 4 into 2 into 1. Hand welded. Maximum air flow, more efficient than 4 into 1 headers. Yields over 7% in peak HP and torque. Lightweight, weighs only 11 pounds.
Head gasket included.

Is this the same header that Mini Madness currently sells (mini madness V2 Header) or is it an earlier version?

Sorry, I mistyped. This header is most commonly found for sale on Mini Mania, not Mini Madness, but the ones sold by Mini Mania are reconditioned with a high-flow cat and are $800 vs this one which has a bored-out cat and is almost half the price.
