Description:
|
JIC-Magic Cross Competition Coilover System for R53 or GP. GP fitment requires rear shock adapter bushings which run around $40 or less.
15 way adjustable dampening.
Lowering range of about .5-2.0 inches (does not affect suspension travel).
Integrated adjustable camber plates.
Ride height adjustment is independent of spring preload.
These are new, never installed. I was going to put them on my GP, but decided to go another direction primarily due to the importance of ride comfort for me.
I did take them out of the box to look at them. I have all original packing material.
Send me a PM or post questions here.
Thanks,
Lee

I've decided to go to the H&R Street Performance coilovers due to the softer ride. They aren't as good as Cross for the track, but that's not a priority for me.

The ride quality is a subjective thing - that's why it's best to go for a ride in a MINI that has a setup similar to what you are considering. I don't think the MINI with the Cross coilovers I rode in had the softest setup as they were running the stock spring rates and shocks set somewhere in the mid range. The things that make the Cross better for track also compromise the overall comfort level. In the end - it's up to you to choose what works best for you.

I wish I had spent the extra money on these. My Eibach springs are too soft. You could get really low with these cause of the front springs, the staight spring is better for clearance
