Weds Sport TC-005 Racing Wheels – Lightweight
Excellent set of wheels and tires for your Mini Cooper. These were my summer wheels and tires for our BRG Copper S. They are light weight (12.7lbs) for better acceleration, braking, and handling. Also better air flow to your brakes for improved cooling. Ask any professional, lightweight wheels are one of the best upgrades for your Mini. Get rid of your heavy factory wheels/tires. Replace them with these lightweight Weds Sports TC-005. Avon M500 summer tires were purchased mounted and balanced with TC-005 wheels. Real nice tires with good grip and a decent ride. Avon tire size is 205-50ZR-16.
Made in Japan the Weds Sports are shot peaned and heat-treated making them very strong yet light. Weds Sport, victorious in JGTC racing as well as at other motorsports events, uses the knowledge gained on the track to design and tune each wheel produced for maximum strength and a minimum weight. Wheels are Original Equipment quality and meet the world standards set by JWL and VIA, as well.
As you can see from the photos these were well cared for (always washed and waxed) and never raced or driven in ice and snow. These originally sold for $319.00 dollars per wheel plus $81.00 per tire. Includes a set of metal SSR hub centric rings. Tires have even wear, as they were rotated every 3000 miles. Remaining tread approx. 60%.
