This is an incredible 2-owner car with just over 36,000 miles. I bought the car in 2004 with 27,884 miles from a Volkswagen dealer in Washington DC that received the car on trade. It has been my Sunday driver since I’ve owned it. It has had all of its regularly scheduled maintenance from my local Mini dealer, and is not due for another regularly scheduled service for another 11,550 miles. The car has never been tracked and has only been used around town or for the occasional day trip into the Shenandoah Mountains.
The car offers several small aftermarket upgrades that are very common within the Mini community. When I purchased the car it already had a Borla exhaust installed. Since I’ve owned the car, I’ve added a larger rear sway bar and front strut brace for better handling (if there is such a thing in a Mini), a cold-air intake for a few extra horsepower and a 17% supercharger pulley that adds a little more boost to the supercharger.
I also swapped nearly brand new stock Pirelli eufori@ run flat tires (less than 2,500 miles) for non-runflat Goodyear Eagle GS-D3 tires that greatly improved the ride. The Goodyears have less than 3,000 miles on them. I still have the Pirelli eufori@ set of runflats mounted to another set of identical wheels that could be included for an incremental fee.
The following accessories are also included: a set of front rubber floor mats (purchased from the dealer), rear trunk organizer, a car cover and 2 cup holders (purchased from the dealer).
I cannot emphasize enough what a fantastic car this is, either as a daily driver or for some weekend fun. I am a car guy and this car has been babied. The car has a special place in my heart, and had I not recently found an incredible deal on a stunning 1996 Porsche 911, I would not be selling the Mini. Unfortunately the Porsche is now the 5th car in a two driver family, and something has to go (or so I’m told). If you are in the market for a Mini Cooper S, you need to seriously consider this car as you will have a tough time finding one this nice with the same options and accessories.
