FS: 4 - Nitto NT-01 (competition tires), as new!

SOLD SOLD SOLD!!

I have 4 Nitto NT-01 "competition tires" with approximately 25-30 miles on them (yes, basically brand new). I bought these and had them mounted on my stock 17" rims. Discount managed to put minor scratches in all of my white stock rims so I had them pull the tires off. To save time, I bought a set of 16" rims/tires and now have the Nitto's in my garage.

I had one opportunity to drive with these in the rain. I tested steering, stopping, and jerking the wheel, in addition to a "hammer down" start from about 5mph. I could NOT get the tires to lose grip. I'm stating this as it was my only concern with these tires.

Link to Discount Tire to see the tires: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...r=40&tc=NITHZ8

NOTE: If you have nothing positive to say, please don't post in my thread!

$580, shipped to your door!

Here's a pic of it at PIR. It's actually of my wife running the car. We don't have any pics yet with the turbos installed. Probably looking at another couple of months before it's done. Evoms have been taking photos of the build so I'll have them when its done. Can't wait!

nice price. if I didn't have RE01R's already sitting in my garage with no wheels to put them on, I'd snatch these up. I had ordered a set of NT-01s during the sale last month, but ended up canceling.

for those that don't know, I hear from my local auto-x guys that these are a similar compound to Hoosiers but with grooves for street use (meaning you can run them down past the tread and they're serious tires for the track).

...and if I could have bought them in a 16" in the correct size, I would have in a heartbeat. I ended up with Falken 615's which were the closest thing I could find to a sticky tire.

The Nitto's are about 2 weeks old at the most. I have them stored in bags in the garage right now.

Someone better snatch these up!

Thanks, this was one of those "should I sell them or have 2 sets of rims/tires"!

Oh well, they'll make the new owner a great present!

Weedo-Thanks for selling them to me! I'll be the one with two sets of wheels/tires now; one set for street and one for track. This was part of my master plan. Don't have the track wheels yet, but I keep looking here in the Marketplace to see if anything in 17" forged shows up!

It's not too late for me to ship you the BRAND NEW Momo Corse RPM's that I just listed!

They're black centers, polished lip, 17lbs, and one of the best looking rims I've seen!
