ARGHHH-Still can't find a 05-newer MCS Auto-PA/DE/MD/NJ

I realize that there is another poster looking for about the same thing, but I figured that I would cover the "mid atlantic states" or whatever.

I have to think that I'm not looking for a pink elephant, as I've gotten semi-close to date, and my minimum requirements list is pretty short:

Requirements:
  • 2005-newer (maybe 04, but I like the newer steeling wheel)
  • Stock or able to EASILY put back to it
  • AUTO
  • sunroofs or premium
  • absolutely < 40k
Strong nice to haves, in order:
  1. < 35k miles
  2. Paddle shifters
  3. Leather
  4. MFSC
  5. Cruise
  6. Chrome gauges
  7. H/K
  8. Any color other than yellow
Just plain nice to haves:
  • Chrono pack or nav
Color not important, but I do like the black and red, especially with white roofs.

We Like Ours Too Much!

But I just did a search on Vehix.com and found several. Give it a try or if you already did please disregard. Good Luck!

actually, been watching a bunch of sites

In addition to here, I've also been watching:
ebay
craigsliest
cars.com
vehix
autotrader.com
aol autos

I'm pretty convinced at this point that my best luck will be here or craigslist (obviously I would physically inspect it). - Most dealers are getting a little delirious / greedy with some of their pricing.

The ones on vehix seem to get pretty up there for what I was looking for, within even like 150 miles. what do you think is reasonable for an 05 MCS auto?

I don't know but maybe north of 18k. Mini's have always had great resale and with fuel being what it is... I'm in the automotive field and my customers are telling me small 4cyl cars are fetching about 2k more than book at auction.

Thats my dealer. When I've been down there for service I always look at the used Mini's and am amazed by what they are getting for them. The fairest deals I've seen are a couple of Mini's that were sold from Carsense as far as a dealer goes. I always see one here or there at small mom and pop dealers, but that can be a crapshoot.

Everyone that I talk to says that Ottos is a really great dealership - both for BMWs as well as minis. I have always been impressed with them and (hopefully) someday I will use their service dept.

that being said, I think that I keep seeing their used pricing just go up and up. I questioned the pricing on this one and the response I got was "It'll be gone in 24 hours". Hopefully people are being at least a little rational, as it's been there for probably a week now...

Obviously all about supply and demand in the end...

Ok, and if ottos is your local dealer, I think that you should really just quit thinking of yourself and sell me your mini...I can meet you there tomorrow at 7am...

absolutely

Convertible would def be a welcome option. I heard that blind spots can be a little tricky, and I was concerned that might get a little north of what I wanted to spend (which I still really haven't formalized yet...)

The blue one is Mine. You would have to fight my wife for the white one !
Good Luck with that.
She liked my MCS so much that we had to get her one!

Perkasie is just south of Quakertown.
