Wanting Gently Used Cooper or "S" Automatic

Indianpolis Area - Looking to buy a "gently used" 2006' or preferrably 2007' Cooper or S Automatic Transmission. Must have sunroof. And prefer heated seats or cold weather package. Preferred Colors - one of the Bright blues, or Chili Red. Stripes are fine. Chrome is good. I live in Indianapolis area.
If you or anyone you know is selling. Please email me. Thanks!

Since so many people post here and say "Why didn't you guys tell me before I bought my car, I will tell you now.

For a Cooper automatic, the best are 07 or 08. Some people have had good luck with a CVT in the Cooper, I had one that was no problem, however, some have not been that lucky.

For any MINI S, or 07/08 Cooper all automatics are great.

Good luck in your hunt, the Aisin automatics are a joy to drive.

And, they are faster than the manuals.

Most dealers are offering pretty good deals on the new MINIs now. I am not involved with a dealer, but have just taken delivery of an 08 for just a little over what a used MINI is selling for. Just something to think about. A few dealers are reducing the price of the left over new 07 cars.

06 Cooper for sale

I'm selling my 2006 Cooper. 5 speed. I learned to drive a stick just before I bought my Mini and they are VERY easy cars to drive.

I just stopped by my local GM lot (Bocker Motors, Freeport, IL).

They've had a Champagne 07 MCS automatic sitting there for the last couple weeks, and I'm thinking that somebody could probably snatch it up pretty cheap.

The salesman tell me it was a local trade for an Escalade, of all things!

5,000 miles, sunroof. I don't know about any other goodies, but I can find out.

I would suspect that you could get it cheap.
I "stole" a used '99 M Roadster from them in 2000, for about $4K under list price.
Being GM guys, (in this small, convservative town), they seem to feel a bit uncomfortable with anything "unusual" on their lot.

The sales guy mentioned $29K, but when I got a little more interested, the number quickly came down to $26K.
Then he mentioned a tent sale next week, and taking the car to the local auction house after that.

Hi ,
I am in NJ. And I have a 2005 MINI Cooper S - Silver with Black strips, and black roof approx 32K miles. Automatic
It has moon roof, Paddel shifters, heated seats, and iPod hookup.
We have installed newtires on Tuesday.
It is my wifes car - and was purchased used last year
We are not actively looking to sell it. But my wife is toying with the ida of getting a 5 speed MCS. And after reading your post I thought I'd reach out.

Make me a fair offer - Let me konw if you are interested.

If you decide a stick might be more fun, and are willing to go way back to a coddled 02, let me know. Plenty of chrome on this Indi Blue, with heated seats, sunroof and lots of chrome bits. Check out my gallery. This car has never been driven over the winter. 60,000 miles on her. Has upgraded air intake, front and rear sway bars, rear lower control arms, and custom OZ's. Always garaged and covered. Like I said, a coddled car.
