02 MC Stock Air Filter box/cover

I'm looking for a new cover or entire box for my air filter. The person who owned my car before me didn't seem to have the right attachment or patience to get the star shaped screw out before replacing the filter. So my box cover is cracked..and I'm sure this can't be too good for my engine. So if anyone has one that they maybe took out to put in a CAI that they're willing to part with at a good price would be great...please let me know!!

Do you want just the plastic cover or the entire stock air filter unit? I've got both since my first mod was the CAI on my R50. What do you think is a fair price?

Let me check on the condition of everything before I set a price. Everything has been stored in a box since my mechanic installed the CAI. I'm trying to remember how many miles I had on the car before I did the upgrade. Will go through my records to make sure I don't give you any misinformation, but the stock air intake wasn't in my Coop for that long, if memory serves.

I'm changing my 02' oem air box this weekend to a cai. My car has 33k miles on it. If you don't get any help else where, let me know and you can have mine for whatever you think is fair.

There's one catch though. The bottom side back wall of my oem box is cut open to draw cold air from the vent in front of the windshield. AKA cheap man's cai.

Everything is in the box just as my mechanic left it. My upgraded air filter was installed in December, 2002. I took delivery of the car May 31st. The odometer read 28,100 when the air filter was removed. How does $40 plus shipping sound to you?
