the dealer is perhaps the best option for the fan ..
Some her on nam do give good prices ..
Are you REALLY sure it is the fan ???
There are 2 switches in the pump. if the one burns out the powere is interupted to the fan ....
Run a jump wire to the fan to test ...(if you havent already)

I do this to all installs now...

The fan will not turn freely, I will try the jumper over the burnt out gismo. It looks like a little black box, what is that thing? And how much do you cahrge for your fan protector things?

a 10 foot length is less than 10 bucks at the hardware store

It is alum rain gutter guard

clean the area and I use hot glue

If you want I'll send you enough to do yous ...gratis
