Just make sure you ask him all the right questions 1st about your MINI and fitment before you order. Just my opinion.

Thanks, I know there will be a little trimming, but the piece actually looks quite well built. As long as there are no safety issues (notching the bumber core, etc.) a little trimming doesn't bother me.

Do you have any friends at a welding or muffler shop? You might have to torch off or sawcut the area that is interfering and just bolt the bumper back on again according too IronHorse.

I'm pretty well set up, and have access to a plasma cuter, if needed. I'm waiting on a return PM from them before I buy.

Are there any pictures or anyone that has fitted this to their car to explain what modifications need to be made?

I did the install a few weeks back, I took shots for Ryan at Iron Horse, he is putting together an install instructional.

As to the IC, it has much better recovery than stock, and the install only required the slightest bit of plastic trimming.

Dimensionally and physically, it is very similar to a Forge, but I haven't compared them side by side.

I just lucked on to a Helix, and will do a comparison as soon as I have a few spare hours to swap.
