Due to some latest interest Way Motor Works has been asked to do a Groupbuy on the famous ScangaugeII. We've been selling these for a couple years now, longer than anyone else in the MINI community. And I have to save we have a ton of satisfied customers. If your looking for gauges this is a cheap alternative to buying a fancy and pricey set.
There are 30+ gauges you can display, but the scangauge also allows you to add other gauges by programming in extra codes from their website.
The main gauges I recommend are
#1 Coolant temp, scangauge gives it down to the degree, you can watch the thermostat open and the temp drop with that and the fan coming on.
#2 Intake air temp, this will tell you how well your intercooler is working along with the amout of heat the supercharger is creating
#3 Corrected MPH, you can calibrate for different tire sizes and errors
#4 Ign timing, check timing
#5 Boost, done through using the MAP sensor, it will display it in absolute, or you can program to actual
These are the most used ones. Along with being able to read codes, clear codes and figure all sorts of fuel mileage functions.
We are offering them at the lowest price the manufactur will let us sell them. $150 SHIPPED in the US
It doesn't read oil press, or exh temp on the MINI. It will read any info the ECU receives, but the MINI doesn't have the oil press and exh temps as info on the bus system.
I originly had mine under the Climate control, but I moved it a few months back to the left of my Tach. I have the nav system on my car so the tach and speedo are on top of the steering wheel. Works great and I was able to match the color of the scan guage to the tach and speedo that are now blue. This thing gives you so much information on what is going on with the car, also since my speedo is not easy to see after you hit 65 MPH the scan guage can be set to read MPH and its very easy to read day or night in the location I have it now.

Most of them mount in the left corner of the dash and just run the cord to the obd connector. But you can mount it anywhere, the cord is like 6ft long. I've had some mount it by the rearview mirror.
I have mine mounted in the left corner of the dash like Wayland said.
It was very easy to take the dash cover off and route the cord. It is also very easy to see while driving but does not distract at all.
Some have them mounted under the switch panel between the down tubes. I found that location hard for me to monitor.
Where FFxx will fit one of the following offsets:
14.0 -- FF74
14.1 -- FF73
14.2 -- FF72
14.3 -- FF71
14.4 -- FF70
14.5 -- FF6F
14.6 -- FF6E
14.7 -- FF6D
14.8 -- FF6C
14.9 -- FF6B
15.0 -- FF6A
Best way to guess your offset would be to first display MAP on the scangauage, and while the car is in neutral, press the start button but without the clutch pedal depressed. What this will do is initiate the engine electronics without starting the vehicle. Next, take whatever MAP number the scangauge displays and complete the MTH xGauge.
Mount below with just the ScanGauge's included Velcro Strip Kit.
Click HERE for large 'zoomable' of above photo. Plug-in and play install job.

Does this include the XGauge? I know that the newer models already have it installed. If I purchased it from you, would it have the new software?
Thanks

I'm going out now with the full list of A/F combos but so far haven't gotten it to work on my r53? Boost, intake temp, water temp are working fine, haven't had a chance to play much.

I received my scangauge a few days ago and I have really been enjoying it. Great quick shipping.
I believe that I have coded in the HP and A/F codes correctly but A/F shows nothing and HP is anywhere from about right to 5000+
Not doubting that my mini has 5000+ HP, just that I never realised it before. Haha
What do you use for horsepower and Air to fuel ratio's?
Thanks!
