Sweeeet!! I may have to go with those Anthony after seeing the pic.

I love my exhaust Anthony. It sounds amazing and the fitment is very nice as well. The tips needed a little adjustment but it's all good now!!! I can understand how some of you are saying it's loud, but for me, it's fine!!

Couldn't agree more... everyday I drive my mini, I grow more and more attached to it, even with the tuba.

Glad your happy! I got the pics you sent me. They look great! My outgoing email has been giving me all kinds of trouble lately. It wouldn't allow me to respond!

Tips won't change the sound of exhaust. However if you would like to email anthony@rissracing.com or PM me details of your exact set up and what your looking to change I am more than happy to help you with it. Thank you!

I finally had the resonator section put in and, man...what a difference. It sounds great. No more tuba, just a baby tuba sound. The fam will be happy. Still bummed out about the price hike.

I have a question - Has anyone noticed a drop on fuel economy when the catless system was put in. I was in the 30s for average mpg and now I'm in the low 20s. Also when I had the resonator put in my tips are a little ascew.

I'll post pics as soon as I get home tonight.

Vince

Now I love the sound. See photos. Switch from straight pipe to resonator.

Same here. People having issues are just having some "lead foot" issues

I drove like a grandma today to see if there is any change, and still avg mpg at 23 down from 30 with stock. This kind of bugs me.

Looks like if I wanted to return the exhaust system I can't. Based on Riss's return policy the items must be in new condition. Meaning, at least to me, they won't take it back if you install it and run it for awhile then take it off and return it within the 21 days of original purchase. So since everything was on back order and we had to wait, 21 days is long passed. Plus there is a 35% restocking charge.

my dyno run with the riss exhaust the a/f ratio was a little lean in the 14s until over 4500 rpm but richend up to 12s after 5000 rpm ,maybe the system has leaned out the motor on the bottom end and the ecu is dumping max fuel to compensate.

Ha, you got some great numbers though! The Riss Racing system seems to be helping your MINI get that extra push

Link to the dyno ?

Also owning two Turbo cars in the past I can most likely tell you the ECU is dumping fuel to compensate with the new airflow. Most turbo cars will do wonders with a tune after TBE and Intake.
