Actually

Hoyt is a Mojave Desert Tortoise. They are an endangered species, He's 8 and I've had him since he was a hatchling. He actually has a "license plate" (California Fish and Game Desert Tortoise Tag) because they are protected, can't be removed from their natural habitat, and you must have a tag attached to any you possess. I have four that live in my yard currently, although I give away 4-8 hatchlings each year. Mine like people and follow you if they are hungry; they are also intensly curious. I set the IC down on the patio to dry after the leak test - he decided to check it out.

They are notoriously slow moving creatures (when they walk it looks like slow motion), hence the "More Speed! label - they need all they can get.

Again, count me in! I'm not dying to get an FMIC right now.

BUT.... a group buy will definitely push me to part with some cash. :-)

We'll start PMing everyone on the list now.
Right now we are just taking a $75 deposit for this presale.
Same pricing
0-4 purchasing participants = $650.00 *save $29.00*
5+ purchasing participants = $580.00 *save $99.00*

The list is already at 5+ so assuming everyone is still interested and pays you guys are looking at the $580 price (plus shipping).

Current ETA is about 6-8weeks.
Once intercoolers are ready to ship we'll contact those that have paid for the balance.

Keep the orders coming guys, we have 15 FMICS in production but we always allow for a 1-2 not passing in house QC(although we have only had 2 intercoolers not pass QC out of 100+ BMW and Mini FMIC's. so I will put 13 spots up for grabs and 2 possible if they pass QC!

Will the IC fit with the new JCW brake ducts that go into the lower grille?

it should not be a problem, the intercooler resides in the factory location but is thicker and taller. It does not extend any further width wise. please post a pic of the ducts so I can be sure

From that pic it looks like it should still fit with those ducts on a side note the ducts are pretty damn cool!
