on 7/13 mark says
Price is still $580 for this GB and we are shooting for shipping these in a **tentative** shipping time of 5-6 weeks.

on 8/3 mark says
production run has started and we should "TENTATIVELY" be shipping these in approx 4-5 weeks

on 9/10 mark says
guys we are in the final stages of production and hope to start shipping late next week or early the following week.

i have still not been contacted about payment but these are suppose to be shipping soon. these dates that have been trown around are killing me and i know they are tenative but havent we all been waiting long enough?

the FMICs are all ready to go some of the PAID IN FULL went out today and the rest tommorrow and monday, as soon as you have paid in full your Intercooler will be shipped

0800 bumper and old ic removed. New IC on its way this morning from fedex.

I will install test and update.

1200 arrived and installed, no leaks and working great, took a couple 90 runs and running fine.

Helix did I need to trim anything on the inside of the bumper/grill to fit better, it's a pretty tight fit.

Gary,

No trim needed. The Helix intercooler is designed to take up as much room available. The tight fitment seals to the factory radiator fan shroud so air is drawn through when the car is not in motion. The tight fit also makes sure the intercooler is snug and secure

Nice, FEDEX says my IC is going through Kansas City. Delivery should be Friday late, Saturday or Monday. Any is good.

Now to schedule time for an install.

great so far, my only complaint is its SUPER! heavy. only about 4 times as heavy as the stock one.

it installed great, 35 min install start to finish excluding extended drive

???complaint??? about the weight? that MASS is what absorbs the heat and prevents heatsoak after repeated runs

the stock FMIC is a toy in comparison!

After about six months and 21 days on the track with the Helix IC, I think the Helix IC is fantastic. I took a chance being part of the first group buy way back when and could not be happier with it.
