Once it's activated, you don't have to double flick to auto-raise the windows. Just flick once and release, and the window goes all the way up. That was the idea.
A double click is needed.
I think a few toggle switch panels have "noisy" switches that can fool the circuit into thinking one click is two!

Yep - MINI probably didn't put a whole lot of effort into "debouncing" the toggle switches, since the car's computer is likely programmed to ignore consecutive switch pulses that come within microseconds of each other (and that's if the computer is even able to detect the multiple fast pulses in the first place.)
But since your circuit intercepts the signals before they get to the computer, it gets to see all of the switch noise. I'm surprised you haven't had more problems than you have.
As advertised, the install is simple and the auto-up works great, Thanks, Ian!!!
Am unable to get the garage door opener circuit to work, though... have the raw leads version and although the light on your board goes on when the door unlock switch is held, the garage door doesn't move. And yes, there is an opener already on it
Tried reversing wires and still nothing. Any suggestions?

The circuit mimics pressing the transmit switch, so if the garage opens when you press the transmit switch, it should also when the MINI circuit "presses" the switch. So long as the two wires are soldered to the correct two points on the circuit, where the switch contacts go.
The battery, of course, must still be installed.
Some switches have four solder points, but two each side are linked together - then you have to solder to the correct two on opposite sides.
It's also possible that the remote range isn't good enough, when installed down behind the toggle switch panel.
Does the remote have a light that indicates when it's transmitting? That's a great help for diagnosis.

Thanks Erick. Actually I have a double identity on NAM. I just created this identity solely for the GB, as I had originally gotten in on the GB from posting on another board. Once the GB was officially transferred to NAM, I figured I had better use the identity I had on the other board when posting on this thread, if that makes any sense. I'm also PBGTIGLX...

I finally installed mine this past weekend. It worked approximately 5 times then died. I tried reprogramming and no go. The LED no longer illuminates during the programming process. Yet, all of the std window features still work with the circuit installed?!
I sent a PM, but never got a reply. Can I get a replacement?
Not direct from me.
But with my support, an enthusiast aftermarket company is working hard to supply auto-up circuits within the next two months ... you'll hear more when they are ready to announce ...
