Got mine in yesterday's mail. Thank you!!! Looking forward to installing this. The instructions make it look easy! Which means I need to be patient & read them thoroughly!! lol
Did the install this morning. Everything works. Wonderful!
As usual, I had problems with all areas of the job, but thats me, and no reflection on the part or the instructions. Parts of my interior, of course, didnt come apart in any of the ways that were shown in the instructions. And then I did a couple of things in the wrong order, necessitating repetition, but it all buttoned up perfectly.
Thanks again for putting this whole thing together.

I now have now activated my auto up windows, disabled the DSC, and enabled my fogs to go on when I turn on either my parking or headlights. I'm a happy camper.

I ordered mine this morning. The password protected page did not want to load at first. I suspect Ian may have been in the process of unprotecting it at the time, and mine might have been one of the last password protected orders. What an odd distinction.
I may wait for a warm day (which will come soon enough in DC) and install the AutoUp and the audio auxilliary (iPod) jack, and reroute the MSN Direct wire for the Nuvi GPS (with a Craven mount) all at one time. Given my ability to drop things into previously undiscovered openings, I figure a morning start is in order.

Ya-hunh, as I was putting the left downtube back on, I heard that unmistakeable sound of something small skittering and bouncing down behind the center stack. Oy. I left nothing loose. What could it have been?
Luckily, I was able to open the recently reinstalled access door and retrieve the blue screw holder thingie that had dislodged from the top of the downtube support structure.
Ah, but how to get it back on? The lower of two thingies on each side slip on from the front, but the upper ones go on from the inside. So, remove the radio, get my hand in there, and try to slide the blue thingie on without dropping it down the same space, which I did anyway, due to my just slightly too big hand, the awkward angle, the slipperyness of the plastic thingie, and the air temp which made it just that much more difficult to hold between my index and middle finger at just the proper angle. I left the access door open for retrieval purposes. But it all came together. In about double the amount of time it should have taken, but I'm accustomed to that, so as long as it all turned out right, I'm happy.

When I installed my Craven Nuvi bracket I found a way to drop a screw into the steering housing. Ya wanna talk terrified?

I've dropped so many things in so many hard-to-reach places in my MINI, it's just a running joke now. I've retrieved all of them.... except the HEAD of a mini-mag-light that is still hidden in a completely inaccessible part of the rear chassis....oy....
Ian, you rock. I love this thing. Gonna replace my fogs with xenon-match ones today, which aren't nearly as good for actually seeing in fog.... but look much cooler...
Ian, I want to thank you for your hard work and for giving all of us the opportunity to own and enjoy your great product. Looks like we have allot of happy people here. And thank you to all that stepped up and put your names on the list to make this group buy possible.
Also, as a few people have already pointed out, the group buy is now over and the left over circuits are now for sale. http://www.gbmini.net/wp/auto-up_windows/ get them while you can.

Blitzen: '04 PW/B MCS, No Real Mods YET. custom plates on the way.
Even though the rain was still falling, I dropped the top (in the carport) and installed the circuit. Little different than the more than great instructions. My Aux input/ junk tray/ access hole was a pain in the a$$ to get out. After that it took about 5 minutes to unplug and plug in the new circuit board. 10 seconds to program an sha-zam, double click auto up windows.
Now start working on a double click auto up for the convertible roof, or maybe work in a rain sensor that will auto up the windows and/or roof when it starts to sprinkle!
Thanks Ian! Great Work!

these things are great and very happy to know Ian is still making & selling. When I got my ciruit for my then new 2006 S, it seemed like Ian was going to pack it in. Everyone in the US needs one of these.
I installed mine yesterday, activated the auto-up only, and it works great. My wife has a habit of rolling her eyes and making fun of me when I add any mods to our cars. She's more excited about this one than any of the previous mods I've ever made on any of our cars. Probably because it's her car and it's really cold here, so now she can just double flick and zoom off while the window closes on its own. I'm really glad you un-retired. Thanks.
Once it's activated, you don't have to double flick to auto-raise the windows. Just flick once and release, and the window goes all the way up. That was the idea.
